AS OF MAY 2010 school director Deb Young has officially attained American Ballet Theatre's® Affiliate Instructor status.  Congratulations to the twenty-four Knoxville Ballet School students who participated in the ABT®/NTC Affiliate examinations, with one hundred percent of candidates achieving a passing score, seven with Merit, and two with Honors.  We were pleased to host the Principal of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at ABT, Franco De Vita, who adjudicated our exam classes on April 24th.  Many thanks to the participating Knoxville Ballet School families for their support of this monumental undertaking; we look forward to repeating the exams next spring.

DEB HAS RETURNED FROM THE BIG APPLE having completed training in Levels 4 and 5 of American Ballet Theatre's® National Training Curriculum.  While in NY she also attended training at Gaynor-Minden to obtain certification as a local fitter for Gaynor-Minden pointe shoes.
