KNOXVILLE BALLET SCHOOL TO MOUNT PERFORMANCE The young enrollees of Knoxville Ballet School will participate in a lecture-demonstration of American Ballet Theatre's® National Training Curriculum in the auditorium at Knoxville Museum of Art on Sunday, February 5, 2012, at 2:00 pm, with live piano accompaniment by Eva Holder. The performance is free and open to the public.
THE NUTMEG CONSERVATORY FOR THE ARTS Associate Director Joan Kunsch will be at Knoxville Ballet School on Wednesday, February 22, to give a summer intensives audition class for Level 2B enrollees; the audition fee is $30, payable to Nutmeg. Registration and parent orientation begins in the school lobby at 4:30 pm; the audition class is 5:30 until 7:30 pm. Pilates for the Young Dancer will not meet on February 22.
KBS WELCOMES SUSAN BROOKER, Director of the Academy at BalletMet Columbus, to adjudicate the third annual American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum Affiliate examinations to be held at the school on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Ms. Brooker is a member of ABT's Artistic Board of Examiners and we are pleased and honored to host her for this celebratory event.
